Take action as a whole church, a small group or individuals working together along one of these on-ramps into ministry:
Take the I Was a Stranger Challenge
As an individual, church or small group, set aside forty days to seek God’s heart for immigrants through the study of Scripture and prayer. A toolkit and video are available for download at www.evangelicalimmigrationtable.com.

Collect Items to Welcome New Neighbors
As a refugee resettlement agency, WRDA welcomes new neighbors to our community with a fully furnished apartment and other items. There are many types of items which a congregation can collect that will show hospitality. An updated list of needed items is available here.
Give Regularly to World Relief DuPage/Aurora
Every year, WRDA ministers to over 5,000 immigrants and refugees offering Refugee Services, Education Services and Immigrant Legal Services.
Promote Volunteering with World Relief
Newly arriving refugees and immigrants need friends to help them integrate into the community. WRDA offers training for a wide variety of volunteer opportunities in all of our programs. We can also help facilitate work among church networks to Stand for the Vulnerable.
Become an Advocate
Your church, community, state and nation need to hear the voice of the vulnerable. WRDA can help educate and support you to give a voice to those who are without voice in our society. Will you join others to be a mouthpiece for their needs?
